Shahid Afridi has left Peshawar Zalmi

Shahid Afridi former Pakistani International cricket palyer and captain has announced leaving Peshawar Zalmi due to personal reasons. Shahid Afride has stated that his fans will follow him regardless of which club he joins. It is not yet clear that which club he will join in the future, though chances are that he might play for Karachi Kings.

Afridi who is known for his aggressive batting style and cricketing controversies has represented Peshwar Zalmi in 2016 and 2017 seasons respectively. He stepped down as Peshwar Zalmi  captain in 2017 which was then led by Daren Sami from West Indies.

Afridi is known for holding the record for the fasted ODI century in 37 deliveries. He also holds the distinction of having hit the most number of sixes in the history of ODI cricket.
